Rum Balls

Rum Balls

These little gems are perfect for any get together. They can be even nestled in a cute little box with ribbon and be given as a gift. They’re easy to make and do not require any baking.

Instead of rolling the rum balls in powdered sugar, I rolled them in Coconut Secret’s Coconut Crystals. A gorgeous, elegant and oh so tasty finishing touch to these delicious treats!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup Finely chopped pecans
  • 1 1/4 cup Finely crushed: vanilla wafers or gluten-free shortbread cookies
  • 1/3 cup Coconut Crystals
  • 2 Tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Nectar
  • 1/4 cup Rum
  • Topping: Coconut Secret’s “Coconut Crystals” for rolling rum balls in

Directions:

Mix all above ingredients except the Coconut Crystals in a bowl. Form small balls and roll in Coconut Crystals to finish. We like to chill them in the fridge or briefly put into freezer to set.
